Every year between March and October, the pristine beaches are decorated with orange-colored tape and signs to show where these amazing, archaic sea creatures have buried their nest.

It is also important to honor the service animals that have given their lives in supporting our great nation. We ask that Southeast Floridians think of the trained service dogs and remember them as well.

May is National Military Appreciation Month.
