Palm Beach County Commissions recently unanimously approved a deal to renovate the Spring Training home of the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is set to undergo a $75.1 million dollar renovation that will keep the two MLB teams Spring Training in Jupiter through 2049. 

Commissioners voted 6-0 yesterday at a meeting in favor of renovating the local stadium. The renovation will include an upgraded stadium, new bullpens, pitching mounds, concession stands, locker room adjustments, renovated the teams’ clubhouses, and much more. 

Not only is the stadium home to two MLB teams during their Spring Training but also to two Minor League teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals.…

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse will be featured on every new “Visit Our Lights” specialty license plate sold by Florida’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. There is a $25 annual special fee for the plates, in addition to registration fees. Proceeds benefit the Florida Lighthouse Association, a nonprofit that supports the preservation of the state’s lighthouses. The updated version showing the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse should be available for the next 10 years. The original version of the specialty plate, which has been available for purchase since 2008. It depicted the striped St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Formally known as Whitehall, The Flagler Museum is one of the most famous landmarks and homes on Palm Beach Island. The grand estate features more than 100,000 square feet filled with some of the most important Palm Beach history and history about The Gilded Age. 

The home belonged to Henry M Flagler, an American Industrialist and Founder of Standard Oil. The marvelous home was a gift to his wife Mary as a wedding gift.
