The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation has been building reefs off the Palm Beach County coastline for several years. The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris, a local young man, who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet. Andrew loved to dive and fish, and the foundation’s work will help ensure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment.

The foundation began a substantial education initiative in 2018. The goal was to donate a 5-book set of the “Professor Clark the Science Shark” series to every third-grade classroom in Florida, 55,000 books in all! The goal was met!
