The West Palm Beach Food Tours are happening now until Tuesday, April 30th. Those who participate in the food tours may have a chance to meet the chefs, taste the dishes that have been featured on the Food Network, learn how to open a coconut, hear entertaining stories about the area, view the colorful murals throughout downtown West Palm Beach and much more.

Last year, the organizers for the Food Tours expanded the tour to include more restaurants along the Dixie dining area and Cooking Classes. The best way to experience the downtown is through its food because the food tells the stories of the neighborhoods, culture and history.

The West Palm Beach Food Tour consists of 15 tasting from some of the best locally owned restaurants downtown. You’ll also get a chance to meet the chefs, enjoy wine from one of the Top Wine Bars in the U.S., taste dishes with flavors of South Florida, Cuban, Latin American, Tropical and much more. The walking tour is rain or shine and includes 1 mile of walking between 2 city blocks. The Downtown Walking Tours run Tuesday’s through Saturday’s from 11 am to 2 pm and last approximately 3 hours. Tickets are required and all are welcomed to attend. For tickets and dates, click here.

The Dixie Dining Corridor Food Tour consists of 14 tastings at 6 restaurants, time to explore the Grandview Public Market, some of the best tacos in West Palm Beach, dine at the restaurant owned by a 4-time James Beard nominee, and much more. Transportation is provided in an air-conditioned van. The Dixie Dining Corridor Tour is offered on Wednesdays and Thursday from 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm and last 3 hours. Tickets are required and all are welcomed to attend. For tickets and dates, click here.

Cooking Classes are also available and are led and taught by the cookbook author Judith Olney. Cooking Classes are offered on select Saturdays from January through April. All cooking levels are welcomed to attend, and the classes are aimed for those 16 years old and older. Private classes are also available at any time.
