The California-based pizza chain, MidiCi, opens today on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach.

MidiCi calls themselves "fast-fine" food because of their fast, affordable food in a casual, upscale setting. In the "heart" of the restaurant is the kitchen, a wood fire oven imported from Naples, Italy. It takes just 90 seconds to cook their famous, traditional Neapolitan pizza.

If you go during their opening weekend (today through Sunday) MidiCi is treating their 'guest friends' to a free Margherita pizza with the purchase of a Neapolitan one. The spot also has daily specials and happy hour on Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m.
