The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” and the River Center in Jupiter have teamed up again for another Boating Safety Class this Saturday, May 18th. The safety classes are aimed for young boaters and teens but all are welcomed to attend the boating safety class.

The classes are taught in a lecture style learning and at the end of the class, those who attend are required to take and pass the boater safety test to receive their Boater Safety Card issued by the State of Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission. The State of Florida requires that any person born after January 1st, 1988, and who wishes to operate a vessel of 10 horsepower or more must pass a Boater’s Safety Course and received their Boater Safety Card.

The Broadway smash play “Kinky Boots” is showing this Thursday at the Kravis Center.

Featuring songs by Cyndi Lauper, this joyous musical romp is about friendship and the belief that you can change the world if you change your mind. Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots is a sassy stroll from a shoe factory in Northampton to the catwalks of Milan.

Every month on the second Saturday. John D. MacArthur State Beach Park hosts a car show and food truck rally. If you want to check out some cool cars and enjoy great Florida weather, come out this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm.

The rally is open to all vehicles: trucks, cars and motorbikes, original, restored or modified.  There will be food trucks provided by the Food Truck Invasion, live bands, and kids craft table.  The event is free if you are entering your vehicle but park entrance is $5 per vehicle.
