This Wednesday, May 8th, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Mother’s Day Blooms event to benefit the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Bring your sister, mom, or best friend to the event to celebrate the special day with a fun filled flower workshop. At the event you’ll learn how to make your own flower arrangements and will be able to take home your flower arrangement at the end of the event. A light afternoon tea will be served.

The event starts at 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm in the lighthouse’s Quarterdeck Room. Tickets are $65 dollars per person and a portion of your ticket price will be donated to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is preparing to release another healthy sea turtle named Valentina back into the ocean tomorrow afternoon.

Valentina is a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle that was found in the St. Lucie Power Plant intake canal in Jenson Beach on February 14th, 2019. When the sea turtle arrived at the center, the turtle’s blood work showed hypoglycemia and anemia, Valentina was also under weight, lethargic and in poor health. Valentina was also missing its left front flipper. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center monitored the turtle with routine blood work, nutrition, iron, and antibiotics.

Tomorrow, May 7th, Valentina will be released back into the ocean at 2 pm with pre-release procedures beginning at 1:30 pm. The release…

Bring your kids to The River Center in Jupiter this Saturday for their “Art in Nature” program from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

This course, which is led by artist Brenda Nickolaus, will provide instruction for students to create their own work of art. This is a great event for children living in the Palm Beaches and parents who want to encourage their kids to be creative and draw inspiration from the world around them.

The Roger Dean Stadium in Downtown Abacoa is home to two professional baseball teams for their Spring Training and home to two Minor League and two Rookie baseball teams.

The stadium is the only stadium in the country to host two Minor League teams and two Rookie Level teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, Palm Beach Cardinals, Gulf Coast Marlins and the Gulf Coast Cardinals. The two Major League teams that share the stadium for Spring Training include the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins.

The Town of Jupiter is hosting its 29th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run tomorrow (Saturday, May 4th). This is a flat and fast, out and back 3.1-mile race along the beautiful Jupiter beach. A free tech shirt will be provided to all registered participants, available sizes are first come, first served. This race for runners of all ages as well as for families. You can be competitive or just run for fun, either way it’s a great event.

All finishers will receive a medal for completing the 5K. Accuchip will manage all timing and scoring. We are encouraging all participants to wear their favorite Star Wars themed costumes. There will be a contest for the best-dressed adult runner and child runner

Anyone that was looking to purchase Eau Palm Beach can go ahead and put their checkbooks away because the beachfront resort and spa is no longer for sale.

In February, the resort hotel on Manalapan was put on the market. Recently though, the owners of the resort, London-based Lewis Trust Group had a change of heart and decided to pull the property off the market.

“After an extensive search, none of the parties that submitted bids ... met the terms of the owners of the hotel,” Eau spokesman Nick Gold told the Palm Beach Post on Wednesday. “So it’s no longer for sale. The Lewis family will continue to own and manage the hotel.”
