The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows the public to adopt a sea turtle from their sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The adoption program helps benefit further research and continuous care for the injured, sick, and endangered sea turtles housed in Juno Beach.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help protect marine life and help to promote ocean conservation. If an injured sea turtle is found, the center rescues the sea turtle and brings it to their rehabilitation center for treatment and diagnosis before being released back into the ocean.

Nights on Clematis will soon be a bit brighter thanks to new programming at the newly renovated Centennial Fountain at the Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square,150 North Clematis Street. The West Palm Beach “Clematis by Light” display started with a “Love Our CommUNITY” show. The show will run Thursdays through Sundays plus President's Day until March 11, 2021.

The 6-minute show runs three times an hour from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. According to city officials the event will consist of a "waterworks spectacle", set to synchronized light and music shows. This week, COVID-19 healthcare heroes received a special gift that will hopefully bring some love and happiness into their lives. Jupiter Realtor Rob Thomson donated $15,000 to pay the adoption fees at Big Dog Ranch Rescue for those dealing with the pandemic on the front lines.

The sea turtle research and rehabilitation center have a list of events for the public to enjoy this weekend. Head to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center this Friday through Sunday for a day of fun and get a change to visit with the sea turtles.

Public Guided Tours: 12 pm and 2 pm

The Public Guided Tours are offered a few times a day and attendees get an up-close look at the outdoor sea turtle hospital and get to see the sea turtles housed at the center. The cost is $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for children under 8 years old. All are welcomed to attend. The tour lasts approximately an hour and registration is required prior to the tour to reserve your space.
