It’s the final week for the South Florida Fair in Palm Beach County before moving up to Martin County for the Martin County Fair starting February 8th.

The Martin County Fair Association is the single largest fair and event held in Martin County. The event draws more than 70,000 people from across the Treasure Coast for a few days of great food, fair games, rides, parades, fun entertainment, live music, a kid’s zone, and much more. Construction has been ongoing at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts since May 2018. The popular West Palm Beach theater is in the middle of a $50 million-dollar renovation expected to be completed in 2020. The expansion project is part of their “Kravis 2020: The Future is Now” vision which plans to improve the audience experience without adding more theater seats.

The 22-month renovation plans call for to enlarge the front lobby to allow for more guests, update the front garden area for a larger pedestrian plaza facing Okeechobee Boulevard, and to change the traffic patterns to and around the venue. Due to the construction occurring at Jupiter’s Town Hall Municipal Complex, the Jubilee will be now taking place at the Abacoa Community Park. Mark your calendars for the 3rd Saturday Gourmet Food Truck Event this Saturday, January 19th in downtown Hobe Sound.

The large block party brings DJ Jef of DancenSound, beverages, local shops and vendors and of course unique food trucks. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a night of fun under the stars.
