The beloved Christmas movie is coming to the Harbourside Place Amphitheater tomorrow Friday, December 21st in Jupiter. 

The holiday favorite came out in 2003 and stars Will Ferrell, Bob Newhart, Zooey Deschanel and James Caan. The movie is about a baby boy that crawled into Santa’s bag at an orphanage in New York and travelled with him to the North Pole. The young boy was discovered at the end of the night at Santa’s workshop and was named Buddy and spent his childhood being raised by elves. Buddy then travels to New York City to find his real family after overhearing he is not an elf and bring Christmas cheer to his family and New York City.

The former Macy’s department store in CityPlace has transformed into the “Downton Abbey” exhibition based on the award-winning and extremely popular television series.

The entire space has transformed into scenes from the show and has been transported into post-Edwardian England featuring the beloved English castle, show sets including the servant’s quarters and Mrs. Patmore’s kitchen, characters exhibitions, costumes, and history of the time period and culture.

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition opened in West Palm Beach in early November and will be at CityPlace until April 22nd, 2019. The exhibit is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm with tickets available until 6 pm. Visitors are expected to spend sixty to ninety minutes exploring the space.

With two weeks off from school for the holidays many local museums, science centers and after care programs offer Holiday camps to keep the little ones occupied during their holiday break.

Here are some of the holiday camps happening around Palm Beach County this holiday season.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a full marine-science experience where kids will learn about the journey of the sea turtles and ocean conservation through their programs. The camp runs from Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th and then again Wednesday, January 2nd through Friday, January 4th from 9 am to 4 pm. The 13th Annual Palm Beach Beach Bash is back again for another year. The Bash is presented by the fashion icon Lilly Pulitzer, known for the bright colors and tropical prints and is known to be one of the social highlights of the year.

More than 700 guests are expected to attend this year’s bash at The Beach Club on Palm Beach, the island where Lilly Pulitzer began her iconic brand.
