The world premiere of Art of the Hollywood Backdrop features original, full-sized matte painting backdrops used in Hollywood's Golden Age in films like "The Sound of Music,” “Singing in the Rain,” and "North by Northwest," and "Ben-Hur." This exhibition of scenic backdrops, made for the movies between 1938 and 1968, is a celebration of a popular art form that had almost been forgotten; and it is now time to acknowledge the authorship of the painting of Mount Rushmore, Ben-Hur’s Rome, the Von Trapp Family’s Austrian Alps, and Gene Kelly’s Paris street scene. The exhibition runs from April 20, 2022, through January 22, 2023, at the Boca Museum of Art located at 501 Plaza Real in Boca Raton.

Let the good times roll at the Cajun Crawfish and Music Festival in Abacoa. The event takes place at the Abacoa Amphitheater in Jupiter. Festivalgoers will get a taste of "N'awlins" with authentic Cajun favorites like a Louisiana John’s crawfish boil, jambalaya, gumbo, po'boys, gator tail, and beignets.

All you need to do is set your “g.p.s.” for Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens and partake in a luxurious, after-hours Sunset Stroll event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is located at 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach.
