ReelAbilities Film Festival…November 2 – 5, 2014

ReelAbilities, the nation’s largest film festival dedicated to stories of people with disabilities, makes its Palm Beach debut from Nov. 2-5 at the Mandel JCC in Palm Beach Gardens and will continue with presentations in various venues, including The Alpert Jewish Family and Children’s Service (AJFCS), Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Service and Scripps Research Institute. The films concern a variety of issues and topics such as mental development, autism, wheelchair accessibility, Down syndrome and more.

CATO’S BRIDGE BEACH

The ocean forecast is in the midst of changing seasons, it has been a little wet and windy out there. The fish are used to being wet so it doesn’t affect them, but the north winds should help them get a little feisty for dinner!

OFFSHORE-

The Dolphin bite has been around in fair numbers all year and is being found closer in about 600-800 feet, which is about 5 miles offshore in the Southeast Region of Florida. As normal, always look for floating debris and around the weed lines for these colorful predators. Trolling with artificial lures and ballyhoos are the best ways lately and may also spark the interest of a blackfin tuna too!
