The Gallup-Healthways Well Being Index methodology is “designed to be the Dow Jones of health, giving a daily measure of people's wellbeing at the close of every day. With a daily measure, determining the correlation between the places where people work and the communities in which they live, and how it impacts their wellbeing”.  It takes into account healthiness of the beaches, percentage of sunny and clear days, standard of living and financial demographics of the areas.

The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium  and Bricks 4 Kidz would like to make youth camps, interesting classes and other fun events  readily available to the northern Palm Beach County Area.  The proposed new center will be in the Town of Jupiter’s Abacoa Community.

The West Palm Beach based not for profit has leased 2,000 square feet in Abacoa’s retail and restaurant expanse formally known as Abacoa Town Center.  The newly renovated downtown is a family friendly and date appropriate venue.  The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for place to unwind or somewhere to relax with the family, there is something for everyone.

Jupiter High School Marching Band took home a title at the Florida Marching Band Championship finals in Tampa.  Two other Palm Beach County high school marching bands took home titles, Park Vista and Seminole Ridge.

A total of 74 students at Seminole Ridge Community High School competed in the Florida Marching Band Championships in Tampa. They took the 2-A top spot.  Jupiter captured the 4-A competition and Park Vista was the 5-A winner.

Taking place on November 14, at the Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter is the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program for girls. It is a one-day interactive program provides training and support for underserved girls in Palm Beach County put on by the Girls Leadership Institute, a segment of the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County.
