Nestled between Jupiter and Stuart, the city of Hobe Sound offers a wide array of beautiful beaches, parks, and championship-caliber golf courses. Lovely views along the Indian River, Loxahatchee River, and St. Lucie River provide a beautiful sparkling backdrop to many residential communities. Marine life, such as dolphins and manatees, are commonplace, with the area embracing wildlife at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, spanning 11,000 acres and housing over 140 species of birds.

After winning tournaments in two of the last three weeks and finishing ninth last week, Lewis takes the top spot in the Rolex Rankings for the first time in her career, just in time for the season’s first major.

Lewis is only the second American since 2006 to be ranked number one in the world thanks to her run of four top ten finishes in five events. Going into this week, Lewis leads the tour in eleven…

Tiger Woods fought off a star studded field for four days to win the World Golf Championship-Cadillac Championship at Doral. The Jupiter Island Resident went wire-to-wire, shooting 19 under par in the four day event to win by two strokes. The win was Woods’ 76th of his career on the PGA tour and now puts him six wins behind Sam Snead for the all-time record.

It was more than just another win for Woods, who now has two tour wins this season. His play was reminiscent of the Tiger of the mid 2000s and his putting was some of the best of his career. He fought off a leaderboard Sunday that featured some of the best players in the world, including Phil Mickelson and Tiger’s weekend playing partner Graeme McDowell.
