SUPER Family Sleepover

This weekend, The South Florida Science Center invites your family to SPEND THE NIGHT! Not only can you sleepover at the science museum, but you'll get to explore the "Hall of Heroes" exhibit - an exhibit full of interactive activities to test your superhero powers. Activities include an obstacle course, a scavenger hunt, and superhero crafts alongside real superheroes in the flesh like Hulk, Ironman, and Superman!
Cost includes pizza for dinner, continental breakfast, and all activities. Participants supply their own sleeping bag, pillow, and hygiene materials.
This event is for children 3 years and older, and one adult chaperone must accompany every 5 children for the entire visit.

On display now until April 19th, 2020, The South Florida Science Center is treating Palm Beach County to the world of superheroes with their newest exhibit - Hall of Heroes. They invite you to discover your inner super powers by immersing children and adults alike in challenging, highly-engaging interactive displays and tests, intriguing displays with props and costumes, replicas and artifacts from past and present motion pictures and television shows, and fascinating history and memorabilia.
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why - Santa Clause is coming to The Gardens Mall! On Friday, November 15th, Santa and his elves will parade through The Gardens Mall with the Palm Beach Gardens High School Marching Band to his throne in Grand Court at 6pm. Families can enjoy restaurant samplings and photos with Santa. Everyone is encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to Florida Cares Charity.
Winter is finally here in South Florida (well, kind of), and each cold snap is bringing us closer and closer to the sailfish bite heating up. This is when a special species migrates to South Florida - sportfishing teams in the pursuit of billfish, the tournaments, and the large amount of cash that can be won (and spent) along with it. The 5th Annual Wounded Veterans Relief Fund 5k Run/Walk honors those who are serving and those who have served the United States. This 5k raises funds to help Florida veterans who find themselves on the verge of homelessness. The Wounded Veterans Relief Fund provides veterans with housing and transportation assistance, activities, and resources to help them find their new "normal". Their mission is to save lives and keep families together.
Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, a great way to enjoy the outdoors is by Friday Night Live outdoor concerts at Downtown at the Gardens. This is a free weekly concert series with a great line-up. This week, "The KillBilles" are playing their blend of folk jams with a punk attitude.
