For years, a number of Palm Beach resorts and fine hotels have been taking the top spots on lists from digests like Condé Nast, Travel Magazine, Haute Living and more. Recently Condé Nast Traveler released its “Top Hotels in Florida: Reader’s Choice Award 2017” list and a whopping seven Palm Beach based resorts were on it.

Perhaps the most famous name associated with Jupiter’s history is the DuBois Family. Many locals are familiar with the famous DuBois Park off of the Jupiter Inlet, where you can picnic, swim and snorkel with family and friends in a protected lagoon. The Andrew “Red” Harris Reef Foundation is a Jupiter based foundation dedicated to enhancing the marine environment. Memories of Andrew “Red” Harris are of a promising, vibrant and loving young man. The native Jupiter resident loved his family and friends dearly, as well as fishing and diving in ocean waters. Tragically, Andrew was struck by a boat while saving a friend's life snorkeling June 8, 2014.

The Andrew "Red" Harris Foundation hopes to assist protecting the wellbeing and vitality of our local ocean waters by building artificial reefs. The artificial reefs are donated to the Palm Beach County Artificial Reef Program.
