Starfish & Coffee Story Time is also a nice place for parents to relax with the other parents and a cup of coffee while the kids listen and learn. The kids can touch different animals in the touch tank to help educate in a fun and hands on way about the marine animals in our area.

The Wild Dolphin Camp hosted by the Under Blue Waters Foundation is all the rage for Jupiter kids these days! It is an incredible camp for kids ages 8-15 who are passionate about the oceans and all they behold. 

By partaking in the Wild Dolphin Camp, kids become honorary “junior marine biologists” and will earn their Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) “Skin Diver certification.” This means, the campers master their skills of snorkeling while researching and exploring their local ocean.

Coming to our seaside town of Jupiter, Florida will be two pieces of prized American History for you to see up close and personal. The Columbus Foundation will be harboring two replica ships, the Nina and the Pinta for locals to tour. 

The Columbus Foundation’s original ship, the Nina, is the most historically accurate replica of a Columbus Ship ever built. Friends of Jupiter Beach has been establishing beach clean ups since 1994.  Clean-ups are on the first Saturday of every month. Friends of Jupiter Beach is a 501 (c)(3) community organization whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally healthy, clean, and dog friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida.

On the average, Friends of Jupiter Beach, help clean up an estimated 500 pounds of trash and recyclables each month.  Volunteers both young and young at heart scour the 2 and ½ mile stretch of beach every month. What started as a few volunteers cleaning up a stretch of beach where they walked their dogs has evolved into “a significant force for environmental care of our marine environment”.
