The Town of Jupiter opened a new dog park summer of 2018, Cinquez Park, 2183 West Indiantown Road, Jupiter.   The dog park has been so well received.  It includes an exercise and play area for our furry friends.  The park is an open space located directly north of the intersection on Indiantown Road and Center Street.  

The bark park contains ample lit parking, restroom, sidewalks, gazeboes, a lake, and attractive, large, enclosed green areas for the pups to play.  There is a fenced-in dog run for smaller dogs and a detached, enclosed larger green area for larger breed.  The park is so well thought of, it even has bathing stations, bowls for fresh water, water spickets and poop stations with bags. for Fido.

 While three more rounds of cold air will sweep across the central and eastern United States through next week, South Florida is still warm and sunny! On Monday’s, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts new Living Beaches event. Join the Marinelife Center staff and you local neighbors to learn about our beaches.

The hour-long interactive course will discuss the Florida’s coastal ecosystems and will discover how sea turtles make their way onto Juno Beach, one of the world’s most populated sea turtle nesting location in the world.

The tours and presentations provide visitors with a hands on experience while creating a lasting impression that connects the environment with the importance of protecting it.

The cost is free to attend and is geared towards those 12 years old and older.

The next Living Beaches is this Monday, November 4th at 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Looking for something to do that the whole family will enjoy? Come out to McCarty Ranch Preserve this Saturday for fun, fun, fun!

This bi-annual event at McCarty Ranch is hosted by the City of Port St. Lucie and has free admission and parking. Tomorrow, the Village of North Palm Beach is hosting their Annual Arts and Crafts Fall Festival.

Come and explore the Village Community Center for a variety of homemade crafts, local artwork, jewelry, holiday décor, clothes and much more. More than 100 vendors are expected to be there. The festival is not a flea market, all items sold must be created and embellished by the crafter.
