The 55th Annual Delray Affair takes place this weekend, April 7 – 9, 2017, along the friendly streets of downtown Delray Beach.  Nicknamed the "Greatest Show under the Sun", the Delray Affair is one of the largest arts & craft festivals in the southern United States. A young adult loggerhead sea turtle, is scheduled to be released back to the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. He was named “Squash” by Loggerhead Marinellite Center, in seaside Juno Beach, marine biologists and center employees.

Squash, the turtle, was found floating and incapable of diving below the surface.  Sea turtles are air breathing reptiles, they need to surface to breathe. Sea turtles can hold their breath for several hours and depending upon the level of activity, a resting or sleeping turtle can remain underwater for 4-7 hours.

The 32nd Palm Beach International Boat Show is set to take place March 23 - March 26, 2017 in downtown West Palm Beach. The show will feature more than a billion dollars’ worth of yachts, boats and accessories. Hundreds of boats will be on display ranging from inflatables, power boats and sport fisherman to super yachts over 150 feet.
