Taking place every second Saturday of the month in West Palm Beach is a guided tour through the Historical Northwood Village. This guided tour takes guests on an educational journey of the historic art district in Northwood Village. It is a walking tour that lasts about an hour and a half.

The Festival will be held on the grounds of the Historic 1916 Court House, home of the Johnson History Museum. Palm Beach County divers have a new underwater landmark to discover. The new reef will honor a local three-time breast cancer survivor, Andrea Torrente. “Andrea's Reef”, a 60,000-pound mermaid honoring the valiant woman, has established a home just 3/4 miles east off the Lake Worth Inlet, submerged under 75 feet of water. The sculptures for the reef were deployed off Ocean Reef Park on Singer Island, August 11, 2016.

Thomas McDonald, sculptor, found the inspiration to model his mermaid after the local woman who has survived breast cancer. McDonald started work on his commissioned sculpture during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month last October. He said in a release, "I work at a women's health…

Now on display at The Waterfront on West Palm Beach is the internationally recognized art installation known as “Los Trompos” or “Spinning Tops.” Created by two Mexican, contemporary artists, these colorful tops are interactive so you touch, see and feel them. 

The Waterfront has been transformed into a medley of vivid colors while Los Trompos are in town. Artists, Hector Esrawe and Ignacio Cadena are the masterminds behind these beautiful tops. The installation is comprised of 20, 3D spinning tops that have been described as “larder than life.” The tops are made of different medium from rope to metal.
