The Downtown at the Gardens is hosting two upcoming events to celebrate Spring. The kid-friendly events include a Kid’s Garden to Table Cooking class and a Spring Hop-Opening celebration.

This Saturday, April 6th the outdoor lifestyle center is hosting their Peter Cotton Tail’s Garden to Table Cooking event. The kid-friendly cooking class features Easter-themed cooking with Miss Nancy and Grace from What’s Cooking Kids. The junior chefs will prepare vegetable butterflies from fresh veggies and make a potted plant with Oreos and pudding. The cost to attend the cooking class is $10 dollars and your ticket helps support the Els for Autism Foundation. To reserve a spot, call 561-727-2640.

Spring Hop-Opening is next Saturday, April 13th in the Centre Court. This is a free kid-friendly event and will feature an egg hunt, egg decorating, a live DJ, chalk art, face painting, stilt walkers, balloon artists and much more. The event starts at 11 am this Saturday and goes until 1 pm. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate the Spring and the upcoming holidays. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
