Art Palm Beach is back again in Palm Beach County for another season. Next week the art fair comes to the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

The Annual fair is in its 22nd year and will feature more than 75 local and international galleries. The number is up from last year that featured 60 galleries. The fair is run by Next Level Fairs and they are reshaping the art fair concept for this year by connecting the exhibitors and collectors in new ways. Next Level Fairs are also the founders of Art Miami and Art Asia Hong Kong.

The pavilion will house animation art, video installations, pieces from collector Elayne Mordes of WhiteSpace Collection in West Palm Beach, and performance art by Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen in the FLOW pavilion.…

The new expansion for the Norton Museum is set to unveil its $100 million-dollar expansion on February 9th. The expansion will have 37 percent more gallery space and the architect is the same man, Lord Norman Foster, that designed the Apple headquarters in California.

The new design incorporates a lot of glass in its design and returns the museum to its original east and west axis. The entrance has been moved and visitors will now be able to enter on Dixie Highway near the giant 19-foot tall typewriter eraser sculpted by Coosje Van Bruggen and Claes Oldenburg in 1999. The museum is located at 1450 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach Modern and Contemporary Art Fair sponsored by the city of West Palm Beach and presented by Art Miami is coming to our area for its third edition.

The art fair will run from Thursday, January 10th through Sunday, January 13th. On Thursday night, the fair will open with an exclusive VIP Preview starting at 5 pm to 9 pm. Tickets for Thursday night are $150 dollars per person.

The prestigious Miami Art Group is celebrating its 29th year and the fair brings world-class art to Palm Beach. This weekend, the Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary Club is hosting the Juno Beach Craft Festival.

This will be the 17th year for this popular event, and gives residents and visitors a chance to stroll along the ocean while browsing local art of all kinds. Admission is free, and the show will be set up along A1A in Juno Beach.

The 17th Annual Juno Beach Craft Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 10th and 11th 2018, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

West Palm Beach dancer and Alexander W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts alumni Darius Hickman has made it as one of the top 4 finalists on the popular TV competition So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD).

As an aspiring professional dancer and now TV star, Hickman has worked extremely hard to make it this far. He began serious training in ballet and contemporary dance at BAK Middle School of the Arts in 8th grade, and fine-tuned his talent at the Florida School for Dance Education (FDSE) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida after school. On the last Thursday of the month, the Creative Arts School at the Old School Square in Delray Beach invites local residents to join a social night called Canvas & Cocktails where you can create a masterpiece and enjoy an evening of fellowship.

The classes are from 7-9 p.m. and costs $36 all-inclusive. In a nice relaxed atmosphere, you can do some therapy painting while sipping on a glass of wine, craft beer or cocktails. An instructor will teach the class step-by-step so your painting will be something amazing. There's calming music in the background and the Cornell Art Museum is open to explore.
