Friends of Jupiter Beach is a grassroots, volunteer-driven not-for-profit group dedicated to keeping a special section of Jupiter beach clean and dog-friendly in northern Palm Beach County.  Friends of Jupiter Beach has been around for nineteen years and is dedicated to keeping the mission alive!

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center located at 14200 U.S. Highway 1 in Juno Beach asks that residents think globally and act locally. Due to potential impacts of hurricane Ian on our area this week, Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the Juno Beach Pier will be CLOSED today (Wednesday, September 28th) and will remain closed until the storm passes and assessments are made.  Please stay off the beaches and remain cautious.

The Friends of Jupiter Beach's September beach cleanup is slated for this Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter. It happens to fall on International Coastal Cleanup Day. All volunteers will receive a FREE International Beach Cleanup Day t-shirt!  The first 100 volunteers to sign in will receive a $5 gift card to Surf Taco! The beach cleanup helps to keep trash away from the local wildlife while also helping to maintain the beaches for generations to come. The beach cleanup helps to keep trash away from the local wildlife while also helping to maintain the beaches for generations to come. The Loxahatchee River District in Jupiter has been named “Best in Nation” by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.  The Loxahatchee River District has been esteemed for its excellence in wastewater recycling by the Florida Water Environment Association. The organization operates an award-winning facility that collects wastewater from the community and recycles it for irrigation needs, preserving freshwater supplies for the environment. In addition to serving the community, they strive to maintain pristine habitats with water recycling efforts. Preservation of the "Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River" is the highest priority for the organization.
