The Friends of Jupiter Beach's August beach cleanup is slated for this Saturday, August 6th, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter. The beach cleanup helps to keep trash away from the local wildlife while also helping to maintain the beaches for generations to come. The cleanup will be at a 2 ½ mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier and continue to the southern edge of Carlin Park. Please use beach crossovers 22-59 and enjoy a variety of breakfast foods, drinks, old and new friends, and an opportunity to win a FREE PRIZE!

The Friends of Jupiter Beach are hosting a "July Jupiter Beach Cleanup" this Saturday, July 9th. A special thank you to the LaBovick Law Group for being this month’s beach cleanup sponsor! The Friends of Jupiter Beach volunteers clean a 2 ½ mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park. The Jupiter beach crossovers are 22 – 59. Return before 9:30 am, and enjoy a variety of breakfast foods, drinks, and FREE PRIZES!

Beach cleanups are canceled in rain or dangerous weather. Cancellation notices will be posted on their Facebook page here. If canceled, no rescheduling, see you next month!

The Loxahatchee River District in Jupiter has been named “Best in Nation” by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.  The Loxahatchee River District has been esteemed for its excellence in wastewater recycling by the Florida Water Environment Association. The organization operates an award-winning facility that collects wastewater from the community and recycles it for irrigation needs, preserving freshwater supplies for the environment. In addition to serving the community, they strive to maintain pristine habitats with water recycling efforts. Preservation of the "Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River" is the highest priority for the organization.

Please join this month’s Friends of Jupiter Beach Cleanup on Saturday, March 5, 2022, beginning at 8:00 am – 10:00 am. The March beach cleanup is sponsored by Florida, Power, and Light. We clean a two and ½ mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park crossovers 22-59. Head on over to Jupiter beach this Saturday morning and join the Friends of Jupiter Beach as they help clean up the area coastline.  Friends of Jupiter Beach is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally health, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter.
