For the first time ever, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting their Sea Turtle Sleepover this upcoming Saturday, January 26th.

The Sea Turtle Sleepover is an exclusive program for children between the ages of 8 and 12 years old. Besides the sleepover that nighttime program includes a tour of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital, snacks and pizza, movie time, children’s activities, a chance to meet the sea turtle patients, a scavenger hunt, and concludes with the ultimate slumber party. You are allowed to bring your own snacks and drinks for the night, the center asks that all drinks be in a reusable container.

Tonight, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their Paint for a Purpose, Paint N Drink party at 6 pm. Paint N Drink is a mobile paint party planner that strives to create a fun and entertaining experience for everyone, no artistic experience is needed.

All are welcomed to attend, those who attend are asked to bring their own adult beverages. The center asks that all drinks consumed be in a reusable container.

The most anticipated time of year has come in southern Florida, sea turtle season. The turtles have come to lay their eggs and now the eggs are hatching. “The Biologist Beach Walk program is a unique opportunity for Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) in Juno Beach, educators to give the public insight into LMC’s research and conservation efforts.”

Attendees of the walks will get to learn about the different species of sea turtles, how they migrate, interact and nest on our beaches. The experienced biologists leading the tour teach guests inside tricks on how to spot nests will also teach guests and hatchlings where they will often get to see hatchlings.
