Prepare to be blown away! Come out today, February 6 to the Jupiter Community Center to see an amazing display of award winning artists create their works of art in chalk onto the street. You will see amazing 3D street paintings and chalk art all over the street at the Jupiter Jubilee at the Jupiter Community Center.

The Jupiter Jubilee will have over 50 spaces dedicated to the artists to make their works of art larger than life. If you have a classic car or you just love to look at them, you have to check out the monthly classic car show at the Abacoa Town Center, in Jupiter, Florida. The Abacoa Town Center Cruise In is held on the first Saturday of every month and the next Classic Car Cruise-In is coming up this Saturday!

All of the streets that wind through the Abacoa Town Center are blocked off and are lined with impeccable classic cars and cool custom rods. Attention star gazers everywhere, you will be able to see a rare and unique display from the cosmos tonight. Jupiter and Venus have been on a “collision course” all month and this week they will be at their closest points.

Tonight and tomorrow night, Venus and Jupiter will be so close that they may appear as one, incredibly large bright spot in the sky. For the past month astrologists and sky gazer enthusiasts have been tracking the motion of the planets and they have been getting closer and closer. July 10th and 11th Harbourside Place in Jupiter will host a Lionfish Derby to benefit the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation. The foundation is named after Andrew Harris, a 26 year old man who passed away last year in a boating accident.

The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation raises money to build artificial reefs to enhance the local marine environment. The foundation is building forty unique, 6 by 8 foot free form concrete modules which will be set off the coast of Jupiter in August of this year.

The derby will begin first thing in the morning, at sunrise, and will continue through the day until 4:00pm. The contestants must be in with all of their catches by 4:00pm to be scored by the judges.
The team with the most lionfish will win $500. Teams will be allowed…
