Many Fourth of July celebrations across South Florida and the country have been adjusting their firework shows to keep everyone safe and healthy. Many fireworks to celebrate America’s independence will still be going and some will be virtual for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Four South Florida attractions have come together again for the 10th year in a row to offer unlimited admission as part of their Summer Savings Pass. The pass gives tickets holders unlimited access to four area attractions throughout the summer and fall until October 31st.

The four attractions participating include Lion Country Safari, Miami Seaquarium, Museum of Discovery and Science and Zoo Miami.

Passes are $59.99 for adults and $49.99 for children ages 3 to 12 years old. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the passes usually last the summer months but have been extended for the time the attractions have been closed.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is now open to the public and is hosting two events this June.  The Lighthouse and Museum reopened to visitors on June 9th for tours and events.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour: Wednesday, June 24th

Tomorrow, the lighthouse is hosting their popular Lighthouse Sunset Tour. Visitors can climb to the top of the lighthouse tower and take in the spectacular sunset views of Jupiter. Visitors will even get to see the Jupiter Lighthouse turn on and illuminate the sky and get a peak inside the lighthouse watch room. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is taking their 9th annual Run 4 The Sea virtual this weekend. The race is open to both runners and walkers of all ages.

The race is a 4-mile walk or run and it begins once you start your timer. There will also be a kids 1-mile Virtual Run for those wanting to participate.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a sea turtle research and rehabilitation center located in Juno Beach that is dedicated to helping sea turtles and ocean conservation. The race benefits the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and their mission to help promote ocean conservation and endangered and injured sea turtles.

The Mounts Botanical Gardens is now open to the public. The Botanical Gardens was nearly closed for three months and reopened its doors to the public yesterday, June 16th. The garden will reopen at 50% capacity in keeping with the county, state, and CDC guidelines.

Mounts Botanical Garden is one of Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest botanical gardens.  The gardens feature 14-acres of tropical oasis and features 25 display gardens showcasing more than 2,000 species of plants.

Mounts Botanical Gardens joins the list of other cultural centers in Palm Beach County that have reopened with limited capacity. The Flagler Museum, The Norton Museum, The Pan’s Gardens and The Society of the Four Arts have recently been welcoming visitors back.

Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf is bringing back their popular event this Thursday, June 18th. This Thursday, head to Jupiter for Birdies, Burgers and Beers event.

The fun night will be filled with mini golf, burgers and a Craft Beer Tasting from 6 pm to 9 pm. There will be local craft breweries there for you to sample some craft beers in addition to burger sliders and of course mini golf.

The event kicks off the start of the summer series at Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf and will be every Thursday night during the summer. The event costs $40 dollars and you get 18 holes of mini golf, craft beer on and off the course and sliders with fries.
