For the past thirteen years, The Honda Classic Golf Tournament has been played at Palm Beach Garden’s PGA National Resort and Spa. Recently, the popular PGA Tournament has been named the “Most Fan Friendly Event” in 2019. The award was presented to The Honda Classic Golf Tournament at the PGA Tour’s Annual Meetings.

PGA National Resort and Spa has been the home to the golf tournament since 2007 and the tournament is back in Palm Beach County this February. PGA National consists of five golf courses with a total of 18 holes each. The courses include The Champion Course, The Palmer, The Estates, The Fazio, and The Squire. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular Jupiter Climb and Paddle event this week.

The event starts with a climb to the top of Jupiter’s iconic red Lighthouse and get your chance to see the incredible views of Jupiter and the waterways. The Lighthouse tower is 105 steps to the top and those who attend the event must be able to climb the tower’s steps.

Following the tour of the Lighthouse, the friends at the Jupiter Outdoor Center will guide the guests on paddleboards or kayaks through the waters of the Jupiter Inlet and nearby waterways for a tour and history from the water. During past events, those who attend often have seen manatees, sea turtles, birds and other marinelife along the journey.

Starting this weekend, some of the top Tennis Players from around the world will be in Delray Beach for the 2020 Delray Beach Open. The Tennis Open starts on Friday, February 14th and will be in South Florida until Sunday, February 23rd.

The 10-day tournament features past a present ATP World Tour and ATP Champions Tour players. The matches consist of competitions featuring some of the top-ranking tennis professionals in the sport for single and double elimination events at the Tennis Center in Delray Beach. Registration is now open for the 30th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run hosted by the Town of Jupiter. The 5K Run is planned for Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 and registration is now opened to reserve your spot on the starting line.

All runners are welcomed to join in on the 3.1-mile race along A1A and the beach in Jupiter. The Turtle Trot has become a hometown tradition for many locals and visitors. The race course is flat and goes along A1A in Jupiter. The race starts at Ocean Cay Park at the corner or Marcinski Road and A1A. The runners will start at the starting line and run 1 mile down the road before turning around and heading back to the finish line at Ocean Cay Park. On the first Friday of every month, the Village of Tequesta hosts their reoccurring Food Truck Pow Wow at Constitution Park.

The giant outdoor picnic is a great way for you to gather with your neighbors and community with great food and fun activities. The food trucks will be lined up in Constitution Park and will feature some of the best food truck dishes in South Florida.

Get ready for the 5th Annual Palm Beach PaddleFest is back this weekend. The family-friendly event is taking place at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.

The Paddlefest event features two timed races with cash prizes and trophies for the winners. The event will also feature a kid’s SUP race, free kayak eco-tours, Yoga, an exhibitor expo, face painting, live music, and much more.

The Paddlefest caters to both new and experienced paddle boarders. There are going to be two types of races, a 2-mile race and a longer 6-mile race.
