The River Center in Jupiter is continuing to add events to their calendar this Spring and Summer. Join the River Center this weekend for their Bloomin’ in the Garden program designed for kids.

Bloomin’ in the Garden is an event for kids ages 3 years old to 6 years old includes story time around the River Center’s Fire Pit and an outdoor garden themed craft. The event will also include garden themed hands-on activities and those who attend will receive garden seeds to take home and begin planting their own garden.

On Wednesday evenings, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their popular Lighthouse Sunset Tour for the public to get a chance to witness the incredible sunset over Jupiter.

Climb the 105 steps to the top of the lighthouse tower and take in spectacular views. Those who attend the Sunset Tour will get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works and will get a chance to witness the light turn on for the night and illuminate the sky.

The tours last approximately an hour and cost $25 dollars per person. Registration is required prior to the event due to popularity and limited space. Children are welcomed to attend the event and must be 48 inches tall to climb the tower and be accompanied by an adult.

It is always fun looking for free outdoor entertainment for the family. In the Wellington area, head on over to the Wellington Amphitheater for free outdoor concerts with tribute bands.

There is also a food truck roundup on Thursday night. The popular food truck series is a great way to gather outside under the stars have some dinner and enjoy a concert.  This Thursday, the tribute concert will be “Sinatra, Martin, Darin and Vail.  Food trucks are 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and the concert is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

Lion Country Safari is one of Palm Beach County’s Top Attractions and is Florida’s only drive-through and walk-through safari as well as an amusement park. The safari is located in Western Palm Beach County and is situated on more than 600 acres of land with over 1000 animals from six continents throughout the safari’s seven sections.

Palm Beach County is home to the John D MacArthur Beach State Park, the only state park located within the county.  The park was established in 1989 and its purpose is to protect Florida’s southeast coast.

The park is located in North Palm Beach and is situated between the Lake Worth Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The park is home to more than seven species of plants, more than 22 species of animal’s roam throughout the park and features more than 438 acres of natural environment.

An Estuary is located within the northern section of the park and features an Anastacia Limestone Rock Reef that was formed more than 125,00 years ago. The reef is mostly made of limestone and is one of Palm Beach County’s best snorkeling spots.

Jupiter’s Harbourside Place is hosting their reoccurring Classic Car Show this upcoming weekend. Dozens of classic and antique cars will be rolling into Harbourside this Saturday afternoon.

Gather your friends and family and come check out some of the world’s most unique cars. The popular Car Show happens once a month and is always hosted on a Saturday towards the end of the month. The Classic Car Show is hosted by South East Classics.

The Car Show is currently accepting cars to be featured in the show. All makes, all models, and all years are welcomed to join in on the Car Show. The Classic Car Show starts at 2 pm this Saturday, May 22nd. The day will feature participant and spectator choice awards.

This May, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum has two remaining Lighthouse Sunset Tours. On Wednesday nights, the Lighthouse invites the public to attend a tour of the lighthouse at sunset.

Climb to the top of the Lighthouse Towers and witness the incredible sunset views of Jupiter. Those who attend the tour will get a chance to witness the Light turn on and illuminate the sky as well as get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works.

The Lighthouse Sunset Tours last approximately an hour and cost $25 dollars per person or $20 dollars per Lighthouse Members. Children are welcomed to attend the tour and must be 48 inches tall to climb the 105 steps to the top of the Lighthouse and be accompanied by an adult.
