Kayaking and canoeing are great outdoor activities that you and your family can do together. The St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park offers a scenic route for you to paddle down while experiencing interesting plants and wildlife.  It is a scenic kayak trail in St. Lucie County that meanders through mangroves teeming with fish, birds and other wildlife. The kayak trail is on the undeveloped wild northern end of Jupiter Island. From the kayak trail you can find a narrow path to a spectacular beach where you can walk for miles and not see another person.

Every Sunday during the month of December, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, in Juno Beach, is hosting their reoccurring Hammock Hike. The Hammock Hike consists of an entirely outdoor excursion into the coastal hammock habitat near the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center.

The program will cover and discuss the importance of these coastal ecosystems, explain and identify plants and animals, and the hike will end with an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. The hike is led by one of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s experienced biologists.

All ages are welcome to attend the Hammock Hike. The event is an outdoor walking excursion and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

On Saturday mornings throughout the summer, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts a Self-Guided Beach Clean Up for locals and visitors to help keep our beautiful beaches clean for the sea turtles and other marine life.

Now more than ever, the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center need your help. Beginning in March through the end of October is Sea Turtle Nesting Season, where thousands of sea turtles lay their nests on the beach in our area. Northern Palm Beach County is one of the most popular sea turtle nesting spots in the world, the main reason is the gulf stream current that bends towards Florida. During this time, the center monitors the beaches daily for new sea turtle nests.

Downtown West Palm Beach's Clematis Street interactive fountains summer show will run between July 8 – August 29, 2021. For over 25 years, the Centennial Fountains at Centennial Square has been an iconic landmark.  It is a place for the community to gather, for interactive play, for the young and young at heart to cool off and splash around. Warm summer nights are much cooler with this energetic, supersized fountain show.  The Centennial Square fountains are synchronized to music and lights.  All the surrounding palm trees are also lit up and synchronized with the music.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium located in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa area is hosting two Minor League Baseball games this weekend. The first game begins tonight at 6:30 pm.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals. During Spring Training, the local stadium is home to two Major League Baseball Teams, the Miami Marlins, and the St. Louis Cardinals beginning in February every year.

The City of Boynton Beach offers an exhibit of kinetic art by 17 talented sculptors through the end of 2021. The free display is geared to really “move” you!  You will be in awe of these fascinating mobile works of art. This exhibit is located along 100 East Ocean Avenue in Boynton Beach and includes three permanent, fixed sculptures.   

Pick up your self-guided tour maps available at the City Hall lobby. There is also an outdoor exhibit map in Town Square in Downtown Boynton Beach.  Kinetic art is defined as art, such as sculpture or collection, having mechanical parts which can be set into motion. This is a unique kinetic art experience with indoor and outdoor kinetic artworks, interactive installations, art, technology displays.
