After 40 years of operating home design expos the Home Design and Remodeling Show is bringing its expo to Palm Beach County for the first time. The show will now be at the Palm Beach County Convention Center annually on Memorial Day Weekend. This year’s dates are May 28-31, 2021.

Palm Beach is the highest growth area in Southeast Florida, with all the snowbirds from northeastern United States.  So many people and businesses are moving to this area.

There is a huge boom in the home remodeling industry unlike ever seen before. CNBC reports the pandemic remodeling boom has increased:  Project Leads by 58%, Pool and Spa Remodeling by 228%, Deck and Patio Remodeling by 100% and Kitchen and Bath Remodeling by 40%.

 The Robert Fontaine Gallery moved onto Worth Avenue in Palm Beach last month after being in the Miami area for 11 years. The Town of Palm Beach persists in attracting a growing flock of major art collectors. Changes in the art world, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have influenced this migration.

The gallery owner, Robert Fontaine, said the decision to move to 256 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach was somewhat based on the inability to find a space in Miami at a reasonable price.  Fontaine's gallery was in Miami's Wynwood art district for 6 years before moving to Miami Beach in 2017.  Because of the gentrification, it has been difficult for art galleries to find space without being priced out.

Floridians already knew that this is one of the best states to live in and now it has been confirmed by U.S. News & World Report!  Florida ranked No. 10 in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of best states in the country. It also ranks among the top five states in education and among the top 10 states in the economy and fiscal stability categories. The Palm Beach County Food Bank will host the Eighth Annual Palm Beach Empty Bowls at The Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea on Palm Beach. Friday, February 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the slogan “Eat Simply So Others Can Simply Eat,”  event returns with a mission to raise funds for the Palm Beach County Food Bank, hunger relief, and help those who are struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
