Its that time again for the 28th annual Pet Parade and Contest happening along Worth Avenue. The annual event is a local Palm Beach favorite.

This Saturday bring your beloved dog, cat, bunny, or whatever cuddly pet you have and cruise down the runway dressed in costume. All pets and all sizes are welcomed to join in on the day of fun. The event takes place in Via Amore, right off Worth Avenue. The popular event draws hundreds of spectators every year.

Registration for the Pet Parade and Costume Contest begins at 9 am and the contest will begin at 10 am. Costumes and embellishments are required for stage competition. Owners of pets will be competing for great prizes and the honor of being one of Palm Beach’s doggy divas.

Located in the heart of Palm Beach Island is the growing and popular Royal Poinciana Plaza. The newly renovated 180,000 square foot outdoor lifestyle and shopping center is filled with lush gardens and two elegant courtyards located on the corner of Royal Poinciana Way and Cocoanut Road.

The Flagler Museum, formally known as Whitehall was the estate of the American Industrialist and the islands founders, Henry M. Flagler. The grand estate features more than 100,000 square feet that is filled with some of the most important history of Palm Beach.

The island’s famous landmark was commissioned by Flagler to be a winter estate for himself and his wife Mary as a wedding gift in 1902. The iconic Palm Beach hotel, The Breakers is celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2021. The hotel was founded by Henry M. Flagler, one of America’s great industrialist. The Breakers Hotel was founded in 1896 by Flagler, and Flagler is known to have transformed South Florida into a popular vacation destination.

Henry M. Flagler first made his debut on the island with the construction of The Royal Poinciana, a six-story hotel located on the intracoastal side of the island. Today, The Royal Poinciana Plaza is home to numerous high-end shops and boutiques and award-winning restaurants. SoulCycle has returned to Palm Beach. The popular spin class has moved into the Royal Poinciana Plaza for its third year in a row for its new SoulOutside by SoulCycle series.

The outdoor spin classes begin just before Christmas on Wednesday, December 23rd and will continue for a few months. SoulCycle first started bringing their popular and energetic spin classes to Palm Beach three years ago as part of their DestinationSoul program. The program brought SoulCycle spin classes to areas where there is not a SoulCycle studio nearby. The closet SoulCycle studio to Palm Beach County is in Miami with locations in Brickell, Miami Beach, and Coral Gables.
