The Festival of the Arts is back in Boca Raton beginning this weekend. The festival is an extraordinary, multi-day festival for the cultural arts. The festival begins today, March 3rd, and continues through Sunday, March 12th. 

The Festival of the Arts takes place at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center located in Boca Raton. The events feature several of the worlds most sought after classical and contemporary performers, performances, stories, film screenings, award-winning authors and speakers, and much more. 

Performances include: Disney’s Fantasia Live, A Night At The Ballet, Voices Rise- Young People’s Chorus of New York City, Future Stars Competition, and more.

The popular annual music festival is coming back to the waterfront in West Palm Beach this May. This week the festival announced its line up featuring some of the biggest performers in music. 

The 3-day music festival, Sunfest, returns this May 5th through May 7th. Sunfest first started in 1982 in West Palm Beach and has been a popular annual music festival each year since.

SunFest is one of Florida’s largest waterfront art and music festival. The festival mixes all genres of music together for everyone to enjoy a weekend of fun and music. 

Lineup this year includes the killers, Jack Johnson, All Time Low, Flo Rida, Dropkick Murphys, Ziggy Marley, The Chainsmokers, and much more.

It’s that time of year again, baseball’s Spring Training is back and games begin this weekend in Palm Beach County. 

Two Major League Baseball Teams will call the Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter home for the next few weeks for Spring Training before the official start of the baseball season. The St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins have been practicing these past few weeks in Jupiter ahead of Spring Training. Both teams are looking forward to the upcoming season and hope to make it to the World Series.

The annual PGA Golf Tournament is back next week at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. The golf tournament is a popular event that happens each year. The event brings some of the world’s top golfers together to compete for the title. 

For the past several years, The Honda Classic has been named the “Most Fan Friendly Event” on the PGA Tour and its played right in our area. The “Most Fan Friendly Event” award recognizes the food options, amenity stations, parking, transportation, affordable ticket options, and much more. 

This year, the tournament is celebrating 16 years being played at PGA National. PGA National has been the home of The Honda Classic since 2007 and it returns to Palm Beach County next week.

Those who visit the popular Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach can Adopt a Sea Turtle through their adoption program that helps support the Marinelife Center to provide care and research for injured and endangered sea turtles. 

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research, rehabilitation and sea turtle hospital whose mission is to protect the ocean ecosystems and all that live in the ocean.

Loggerhead provides treatment and care for endangered and injured sea turtles before being released back into the ocean. 

The adoption program helps to provide food, medication, tank maintenance, and hospital care for sea turtles. The adoption program starts at $40 dollars and benefits the constant care needed.

The Delray Beach Open is back beginning this weekend at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center. The Delray Beach Open is hosted by VITACOST.com and they will be celebrating its 31st event this year. 

The Delray Beach Open is an annual stop on the ATP Tour and the tennis stars play for more than 60,000 fans at the event in addition to capturing a television audience from more than 50 counties. 

The event lasts 10 days and begins with an ATP Champions Tour Legends Team event beginning this weekend. The ATP Championship event features the top tennis players form around the world. The Single and Double events begin early next week and will finish with the finals on Sunday, Feburary 19th.

Jupiter is home to one of the few remaining dog-friendly beaches in the State of Florida, and the only one in Palm Beach County. The Town of Jupiter adopted a policy in 1989 to allow dogs to roam freely on the beach.

The dog-friendly beach area stretches 2.5 miles from beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road to beach marker #59 at the south end of Carlin Park. In this designed area, your dogs are allowed to run the beach from sunrise to sunset. 

In order to keep Jupiter one of the few beaches to allow dogs to roam freely, the Town has adopted rules and regulations that they ask pet owners and pets to follow. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is a privilege and The Friends of Jupiter provide free dog waste bags at every cross over along the 2.5

It’s time to celebrate the Town of Jupiter. The annual Jupiter Jubilee is back this Saturday at the Abacoa Community Park.

The event is free to attend and is put on by the Town of Jupiter to celebrate Jupiter and its residents. The Jupiter Jubilee is an annual tradition since 2000 and will be celebrating its 23rd year. The original event was meant to bring the community together to celebrate all the great things about living in Jupiter. 

 The event highlights Jupiter’s unique character, history, natural treasures, and community. The Jubilee features family friendly activities, food trucks, local vendors, a Civic Fair, kid’s fun zone, Jupiter Police and K-9 demonstrations, and much more.
