This Saturday, the 23rd, you can help hurt, injured and abandoned animals by participating in Peggy Adams’ annual “Walk for the Animals” benefit. The event will take place at a new walk location, the Meyer Amphitheatre.

This pet-friendly walk begins at 9:00am with check-in and registration, live entertainment and a free breakfast. At 10:15 am after opening ceremonies, participants will enjoy a scenic walk along the West Palm Beach Waterfront down Flagler Drive.

The Florida Brain Cancer 5K is coming up this Sunday the 24th, it’s the perfect place to give back to a noble cause while doing something fun with friends and neighbors.

The event benefits brain cancer research through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2). Since 2010, the event has raised over $1.2 million dollars for brain cancer research in South Florida through the hard work and dedication of local families who have been affected by this dreaded disease.

This Friday join the River Center in Jupiter for an exciting family-friendly adventure, the Sandbar and Seashell Family Boating tour and Snorkeling Exploration.

Climb onboard the Osprey boat for a fun trip on the Loxahatchee River. Here you’ll be able to hunt for seashells, snorkeling and get some sunshine, while docking at the sandbar. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, water, snacks and snorkeling gear. Guests will be getting on and off the boat at several times through the day.
