The popular Pineapple Festival is returning this weekend in downtown Jensen Beach. This 30-year old festival is one of the largest in the region and one of the few remaining true street festivals in South Florida.

Produced by the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, the initial Pineapple Festival was held in 1988 in concurrence with the Jensen Beach Centennial Celebration. In 1990 Jensen Beach teamed up with Gregory Town, Eleuthera, Bahamas to start a popular attraction at the festival each year to have an authentic Bahamian Market that features island music, crafts and the Junkanoo parade. The Chamber not only produces the festival, but organizes it as well with the help of sponsors and hundreds of volunteers.

On the 4th Friday of every month, The Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce hosts their reoccurring Hobe Sound Chow Down.

The Food Truck event is held at the JV Reed Park. The fun filled night includes delicious food from local and regional Gourmet Food Trucks, cocktails, craft and local vendors, live music and entertainment and much more.

Head to the Royal Poinciana Plaza on Saturday mornings for their Weekend Wellness Series. Every Saturday throughout the year, the luxury shopping and dining center in Palm Beach hosts different fitness classes outside.

Every week the fitness classes rotate and there is a different class or type of fitness every week. The fitness classes are free and take place in the Plaza’s west courtyard. This weekend, The South Florida Science Center invites your family to SPEND THE NIGHT! Not only can you sleepover at the science museum, but you'll get to explore the "Hall of Heroes" exhibit - an exhibit full of interactive activities to test your superhero powers. Activities include an obstacle course, a scavenger hunt, and superhero crafts alongside real superheroes in the flesh like Hulk, Ironman, and Superman!

Cost includes pizza for dinner, continental breakfast, and all activities. Participants supply their own sleeping bag, pillow, and hygiene materials.

On the third Saturday of every month, a large group from Blue Friends and the public get together and hosts their monthly Beach Clean Up.

The Beach Clean Up takes place along the beaches of Juno Beach. The Clean Up last approximately an hour and you are asked to bring gardening gloves, buckets and sun protection to help participate.

Following the Beach Clean Up, there will be a light breakfast sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Palm Beach Gardens and complimentary coffee by Oceana Coffee.

The Beach Clean Up’s are to help to keep our beaches clean that thousands of sea turtles gather and nest along the shores of Juno Beach. By keeping the beaches clean, the sea turtle nests and sea turtles can stay strong and heathy.
