The Lyric Theater, 59 S.W. Flagler Avenue, is in historic downtown Stuart. The theatre was built in 1926 as a silent movie house and in 1993 it was listed on the Register of Historic Places. The playhouse operated successfully until it closed during the Depression and then sold. Over the ensuing 50+ years, the building was bought and sold over and over and used for many different purposes.

The Palm Beach Selfie Trail is a collection of "selfies" at photo-worthy spots in Palm Beach County.

From the Jupiter Lighthouse to the Palm Beach Zoo to the life-size Chess game in PGA, the area has dozens of locations that are worth taking a selfie at.

The Selfie Trail currently has nearly 30 spots on Discover the Palm Beaches official Selfie Map, click here to see it. You can upload a photo at one of these locations to be featured on the map- just tag @PalmbeachesFL or #ThePalmBeaches on Instagram.

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm presents Art After Dark for summertime. 

Now through July 12th the museum will be open late on Thursdays for fun events throughout the evening like gallery walk and talks, art workshops, live music, happy hour drinks and special lectures.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach has been named the best park in Florida by Money Magazine, a Time publication. 

In their new article, "This is the Best Park in Every U.S. State," Money Magazine says Wakodahatchee Wetlands was chosen based upon its plentiful wildlife, beautiful property, and highly-rated visitor reviews.

Wakodahatchee, means "created waters" in the Seminole language, which is a perfect name considering the park was developed by the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department. The 50-acre site used to be a wastewater treatment facility 20 years ago and the wetlands, now filled with flourishing life, were used as percolation ponds to allow reclaimed water to regenerate the water table.

Every Sunday in Downtown Stuart you can enjoy a free, open air concert on the waterfront Riverwalk Stage. 

Downtown Stuart is filled with shops and restaurants spanning along the Intracoastal Waterway. Behind the main strip, the Riverwalk Stage sits in the middle of a boardwalk so you can walk along the water and out onto the pier while listening to live music.

Music at the Mansion is a live music event held at the Tuckahoe Mansion in Jensen Beach twice a year. 

The concert is at the Tuckahoe Amphitheater, which is in the backyard of the public Tuckahoe Mansion overlooking the blue Indian River Lagoon. Aside from live music, there are food and drink vendors, activities for the kids, dancing, partying and an all-around good time.

The first Music at the Mansion will be held on Sunday, June 3rd featuring the Big Pine Band and the second event of the year will be on Sunday, December 2nd featuring the Sierra Band. The upcoming music festival this weekend will be held from 4-7 p.m. and the Big Pine Band is a local jam band performing southern rock.

On the first Saturday of every month, car and coffee aficionados gather together to hang out, have fellowship and show off cars. 

The free event takes place in the parking lot of the Palm Beach Outlets in West Palm Beach and draws hundreds of vehicles and vendors. You'll see cars from old classics like VW busses to hot rods like Ferraris. If you have a cool car, t's only $5 to enter it in the show. 

This Saturday's meet up will feature not just one but two unique Tramontana sports cars and the TLM race team! There will also be games, giveaways, food and more. 

The fun takes place from 8a.m.-noon.

SunFest is Florida’s largest waterfront art and music festival held annually in West Palm Beach. Each May, more than 175,000 concert goers come together to see the popular four-day festival featuring some of the world’s biggest and hottest musical acts perform live. SunFest is coming to Palm Beach County this May 3rd through May 6th.

More than 50 musical acts will perform on three stages throughout the four days as well as an Art District featuring colorful artwork from local artists, live demonstrations, ChillZones with games like corn hole, great food, floating bars, kid’s activities, and a firework show to end the festival.
