Jupiter’s River Center is hosting their Paddle with a Partner Public Kayak Tour this Thursday, May 13th. The tour will begin from Lainhart Dam and travel through the freshwater swamp for a chance to see wildlife.

Bring your addle buddy and join in on the fun with your local neighbors. The cost is $20 dollars per person and registration is required due to limited space.

For the tour, all equipment is provided. Those planning on attending should bring their own water, water shoes, sunscreen, and anything that will make them comfortable in nature.

The tour is recommended for modern to advance paddlers, but all are welcomed to attend. The journey will include narrow waterways, heavy vegetation, and strong currents.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting three Lighthouse Sunset Tours this May. At Sunset, climb to the top of the iconic red lighthouse and take in the spectacular sunset views over Jupiter.

During the Lighthouse Sunset Tour, guests will get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works. Guests will even be able to witness the light turn on and illuminate the sky during the tour.

The tours last approximately one hour and all are welcomed to attend. Children must be 48 inches tall and accompanied by an adult to climb the Lighthouse Tower. Those attending the Sunset Tour must be able to climb up 105 steps to the top.

Treat your Mom to a movie in an outdoor setting. Screen on the Green converts the West Palm Beach waterfront, on Flagler Drive, into an al fresco movie theater beneath the stars. Join others from the community for an evening of family-friendly movies. The presentation will feature both timeless films and newer ones as well all while overlooking Palm Beach and the dazzling waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach.

The Screen on the Green presentation is the second Friday every month. Free general admission registration is no longer required for this event. Walk-up guests are welcomed but must independently self-social distance. Masks are required when entering the event, ordering food and beverages at onsite vendors, and using onsite restrooms.

PGA Commons has a new Italian restaurant, Scusi Trattoria.  Located at 4520 PGA Boulevard, Suite 100 in Palm Beach Gardens. The eatery offers indoor seating as well as al fresco dining. Scusi Trattoria’s Southern Italian dining experience features a menu of elevated traditional dishes, pasta, pizza, small plates, homemade gelato set in a space reminiscent of an Italian coastal town.

The Town of Jupiter recently released information about how to register your child for the Summer Youth Camps this year. Beginning next week, parents or guardians can go online and enter a lottery to register for camp.

The Lottery Registration will be online beginning Tuesday, May 11th through Thursday, May 13th by using the town’s registration system. Due to the reduced camp capacity, the Summer Youth Camp Lottery will only be available to Jupiter residents only.
