Jupiter’s Carlin Park will be cloaked in mystery July 12-15 and July 19-22 for the 12th Shakespeare by the Sea Festival.  The Seabreeze Amphitheater will be transformed into a deserted island for this adaptation of the Shakespeare classic comedy of the “Twelfth Night” as it is reimagined with a contemporary twist.

Although the “Twelfth Night” is being revisited again at the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival after 22 years “ this production promises to be more complex than ones done in the past” according to Executive Producer Kermit Chrisman.  They have infused the concept of plane crashes and landing in the setting of the 400-year-old classic tale, on a deserted island theme.  A must see concept.

The Jupiter based Frank Family Entertainment Group, which opened “Revolutions” in City Place, West Palm Beach, plans on submitting formal plans to the Jupiter Town Council this July to build a 75,000 square foot entertainment complex within walking distance of Roger Dean Stadium. The location of the proposed the entertainment facility will be on the former site of the old Crown Movie Theater.  The opening of the CineBowl & Grille is planned for late 2015, according to a company press release.

The proposal for the gated community, Lakewood, went before the Town Council last night for an initial vote.  The original Lakewood plans had been streamlined down again.  Originally brought before the council with 286 houses in January it has been reduced to 275 residential units with a restaurant, pharmacy and 150,000 square feet designated for a future biotech research space.

 
The conveniently located and attractive gated community would be on 260 vacant acres at the northeast corner of Indiantown Road and Florida’s Turnpike.  The land, known as Parcel 19, is one of the town’s largest undeveloped parcels.

The Jupiter Town Council, Mayor of Tequesta, head of North County Real Estate Board, amongst others are conducting an important public meeting on Thursday, April 17 at 6pm.  The assembly will be held at the Jupiter Community Center, 210 Military Trail Boulevard in Jupiter.
