The Town of Jupiter planning and zoning commission is reviewing a 72,000-square-foot CineBowl & Grille project. A grass field located across from the Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa, has been vacant since the 16-screen Crown Theater was demolished in 2006. If approved by the town council, it will become a $21 million entertainment complex with bowling, food, movies and music and will bring entertainment to Abacoa located in Jupiter. No dates are set for public hearings. CineBowl & Grille is a family-friendly place. The design for CineBowl & Grille calls for 20-bowling lanes and restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating. The Town of Jupiter and Blueline Surf & Paddle Co. are teaming up to present the 2nd Annual Ocean Warrior Challenge! A day of SUP races for all ages and divisions. Come compete or be a spectator for an exciting afternoon with food, games, cash prizes and live music at the Jupiter Civic Center/Carlin Park on Sunday, September 11 starting at 7:30am with registration.

Bring your kayaks, paddleboards and canoes for The Club Scrub River Paddle II & The End of Summer Jupiter Sandbar Party planned for Saturday, August 27, 2016. The event starts at 8am at Jonathan Dickinson State Park (JDSP) Swim Beach River Area. This fundraiser will benefit JDSP Camp Murphy Mountain Bike Trails maintained by Club Scrub, a Sub-Committee of The Friends of Jonathan Dickinson State Park, a 501(c)(3) Organization.
