OBEO Society will be hosting Boots, Brews and BBQ (“BBB”) at the Lucky Old Sun Ranch in Jupiter Farms. After working closely with the Veterans Administration of Palm Beach County, OBEO Society was able to identify three local veteran families who are struggling in various ways. OBEO Society, their partners and sponsors hope to raise funds to help cover costs and expenses for these heroes in their time of need. BBB is an 8-hour event designed to indulge the senses and celebrate our local veterans. Green and Artisan Market
When the Jupiter Lighthouse was built in 1860, it was the only structure between Key West and Titusville. Today it is one of only 13 lighthouses of its kind in the country. It is one of Palm Beach County’s historic landmarks and it is in need of repair. The roof of the Jupiter Lighthouse is showing signs of corrosion. The nonprofit group, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, is aiming to complete phase one of the roof repairs by December. A fundraiser will be held in November.
