Jupiter Medical Center announced it has received its largest ever donation! The $15 million gift was from the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation and the Lawrence J. and Florence A. De George Charitable Trust.  The donation will allow the Jupiter-based nonprofit hospital to develop pediatric services in a partnership with Miami Children’s Hospital.

Doctors at Miami Children's Hospital have been using “telehealth technology” to consult on patient care at Jupiter Medical Center for over a year. It is anticipated that the pediatric unit should be open by the end of 2015. The first phase will be a 12-bed pediatric unit at Jupiter Medical Center featuring an operating suite, a playroom and a “Bear's Den” for resting.

Constitution Park

Located in Tequesta, Constitution Park is a popular place for children to play. Firstly, the park is gorgeous, and many rave that it’s the prettiest park they’ve seen. Tons of palm trees line the sidewalks, which lead to both a toddler playground and a “big kid” playground.
