Hawk's Bluff is a gateway to a hidden world on the Florida east coast. Apart of the Savannas Preserve State Park, Hawk's Bluff is one of three entrances to the park, but definitely the most spectacular. 

The savannas are a 10 mile stretch of low-lying open wetlands from Jensen Beach to Fort Pierce. In these freshwater marshes you can see many different birds, turtles, fish, and even deer. 

Hawk's Bluff is in Jensen Beach atop one of the highest points in the area and just over a mile from the ocean. The trail is a 1.1 mile hike down sand dunes into the wetlands. "Albert on the Avenue" is Boynton Beach's newest art installation on E. Ocean Avenue in the city's cultural district. 

The outdoor exhibit features 6 massive painted metal sculptures created by one of the world's most prominent metal sculptors, Albert Paley. The 6 pieces weigh a total of 17 tons. The colorful "Cavalcade" stretches 40 feet high, making it the tallest public art in Palm Beach County. 

The incredible display is along the blue Atlantic Ocean, making it a serene area to walk and very easy to navigate. The self-guided tour will take about 30 minutes to explore. A cool feature; Each sculpture has a plaque with a code you can enter into your smart phone for descriptive commentary from artist Albert Paley.

The Costume Museum at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton is a display unlike any other around. 

It houses the finest costumes ever worn on the Broadway stage made by some of the most famous designers in the history of the American Musical Theatre. The costumes are from more than 35 Broadway production and are valued at more than $20 million.

Avocado Grill opened its second location at the Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens. The restaurant opened on Friday, January 12th for dinner.

The popular fresh bistro opened three years ago in West Palm Beach and changed downtown’s dining. The new location has been in the making for the last year and a half, transforming into a larger restaurant that will eventually in the upcoming weeks feature an outdoor seating area and bar.

The new Palm Beach Gardens location is only currently serving late afternoon cocktails and dinner but hope to start serving weekend brunch and lunch services very shortly.

The Jensen Beach Art & Craft Show is back in town showcasing incredible art in various mediums. Every year for the past 12 years, locals have come to celebrate the new year's first art show in the area. 

The show features 125 fine artists and crafters displaying art in disciplines including oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, mixed media, photography, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, textiles, and much more. Enjoy great food from local restaurants, live music, and beautiful masterpieces on the waterfront.

A new French-inspired restaurant is expected to open this January on Royal Poinciana Way in Palm Beach. The new restaurant is taking over the former location of Nick and Johnnie’s, which ended its nine-year run in the fall.

The restaurant will be called Maven, and is a collaboration between Chef W. Scott Osif, Nantucket restauranteur David Silvia, and Kevin Anderson, the director of operations.

The trio are known for their work at two popular Nantucket restaurants, Gallery Beach and Afterhouse. Silvia, also founded Lola 41, and Lola Burger, both in Nantucket as well.
