The much-admired International Hispanic Theatre Festival (IHTF) of Miami celebrates its 30th year of drama!

The live performances will introduce some of the best theatre corporations from Latin America, Europe and the United States within various location of the Miami, Florida and Key Biscayne area from July 9-26, 2015.

For the second Women’s World Cup in a row, the United States met back up with Japan in the final. The two highest ranked teams in the world fought for the final cup once again.

This has been a hard journey with very different teams to get past. Until last night final game, U.S.A came out to start the final game with one of the most incredible starts in any sporting event!
Through the series of games, Japan got thrown into the easy bracket and had some rough performances. The United States, on the other hand, had to beat Sweden and Germany to get this far in the World Cup. July 10th and 11th Harbourside Place in Jupiter will host a Lionfish Derby to benefit the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation. The foundation is named after Andrew Harris, a 26 year old man who passed away last year in a boating accident.

The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation raises money to build artificial reefs to enhance the local marine environment. The foundation is building forty unique, 6 by 8 foot free form concrete modules which will be set off the coast of Jupiter in August of this year.

The derby will begin first thing in the morning, at sunrise, and will continue through the day until 4:00pm. The contestants must be in with all of their catches by 4:00pm to be scored by the judges.

History enthusiasts and carpenters are assembling the concluding touches to the former Henry Flagler Train Depot as they preparing to open on August 1, 2015 at Sawfish Bay Park in Jupiter, Florida.

The train depot has been re-built out of pine from North Florida, along with diamond shaped shingles and hardware that is very closely related to what was used a century ago. “The work has included gutting the interior, installing a new roof, painting, repairing fire damage, adding a deck and other repairs on the structure that was built in 1915. There was lots of fire damage,” said retired Lantana architect Don Edge, who is among many individuals and companies that donated time and material for the reconstruction of the one-room structure.”

You can get an up close and personal encounter with thousands of turtles every Wednesday through Saturday in June and July right here in Palm Beach County. These guided turtle walks allow visitors to learn about and observe the nesting and egg laying process of sea turtles.

Guests are guided by experienced Loggerhead Marine life Center scouts. Tours go throughout pre-patrolled, designated sections of Juno Beach.
