The Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest is an annual event that draws thousands of craft beer lovers to sunny West Palm Beach. There are 40 local and non-local breweries, dozens of food trucks, live music and much more!

The festival is on Saturday, July 21st at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Local breweries include Due South from Boynton Beach, Twisted Trunk of Palm Beach Gardens, Saltwater Brewery in Delray Beach, and Funky Buddha from Fort Lauderdale. The rest of the breweries come from other parts of Florida and around the country as far away as Hawaii (Kona Brewing Co.).

A unique new tapas restaurant opened in West Palm last week on the Clematis waterfront. 

The spot is called Tapeo and it's a two-story restaurant with a casual vibe to sip wine and dine downstairs and a white-tablecloth, traditional atmosphere upstairs. On the lower floor you'll find eye-catching art by New York graffiti artist Raul Rubio and on level two you can get incredible views from huge windows overlooking the downtown Waterfront Commons.

The West Palm Beach Summer Boat Show is happening next weekend, June 22nd-24th, at the South Florida Fairgrounds. A 100,000 square-foot showcase center will feature power boats up to 40 feet including center consoles, walk-arounds, cruisers and pontoons. 

The boat show is sponsored by dozens of brands and local marinas who will have merchandise on display and for sale. On the second Friday of every month, the city of West Palm Beach holds "Screen on the Green" at the downtown Waterfront Commons.

The huge lawn at the water's edge is your seat to watch a projected movie under the stars with your spouse, friends or family. There's a concessions stand to purchase drinks, popcorn and other movie snacks. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on and be comfortable.

The next Screen on the Green is this Friday, June 8th, and the movie will be the new Beauty and the Beast. It starts at 7 p.m. so you'll get to watch the sunset over the water since it goes down around 8 this time of year.
