All non-municipal county beaches are open from sunrise to sunset with no specific restrictions other than remaining social distant and no congregating in groups more than 10 people.

Back in 2014, Fox changed the entire landscape of televised golf when they and the USGA came to terms on a 12-year, $1 billion deal for Fox to begin broadcasting the Men's and Women's U.S. Opens as well as other USGA events. Well, just five years into that 12-year deal, Fox has pulled the plug and ended its partnership with the USGA.

On Monday it was announced that Fox has ended their deal with the USGA and that NBC Sports and the Golf Channel would be picking up the remaining 7 years on the deal. That means that after a five-year break, NBC will once again be airing the U.S. Open.

In this new COVID era, we are all looking for things to do that are BOTH safe, fun, and will get us out of the house. For those that enjoy playing tennis and golf, you will be happy to know that not only is it safe to do so, but it is actually one of the safest things that you can do right now outside of your house.

A recent study was conducted by four doctors in Michigan to tell people the safest, and most dangerous, activities that they can do right now. They listed activities on a scale of 1-9, with 1 being deemed the safest and 9 being the most dangerous. On the list, tennis can be found on the "1" line along with getting takeout from a restaurant. “Palm Beach County Emergency Order 2020-012 has been issued requiring face coverings in Palm Beach County. This order applies in all incorporated and unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County and will be effective Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 12:01 A.M.

Facial coverings must be worn by all persons, other than those specifically exempted, while obtaining any good or service or otherwise visiting or wfaceall persons in public places where social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines is not possible or not being practiced.

The Club at Ibis has a very special connection with the Jack Nicklaus family.  It is the only private country club that features three Nicklaus family designed golf courses. Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf is bringing back their popular event this Thursday, June 18th. This Thursday, head to Jupiter for Birdies, Burgers and Beers event.

The fun night will be filled with mini golf, burgers and a Craft Beer Tasting from 6 pm to 9 pm. There will be local craft breweries there for you to sample some craft beers in addition to burger sliders and of course mini golf.

The event kicks off the start of the summer series at Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf and will be every Thursday night during the summer. The event costs $40 dollars and you get 18 holes of mini golf, craft beer on and off the course and sliders with fries.
