Head to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum on Wednesday nights for the Lighthouse Sunset Tour.

The Lighthouse Sunset Tour includes a climb to the top of the lighthouse tower to see the spectacular sunset views of Jupiter and the surrounding towns. Visitors will also get to see the Jupiter Lighthouse Light turn on and illuminate the sky and get to go inside the lighthouse watchroom to see how everything works.

This February, there are two remaining tours left for this month. The tours last approximately 75 minutes and children are welcomed to attend and must be 48 inches tall to climb the lighthouse tower’s 105 steps with an adult. The River Center in Jupiter teams up once a month with the United States Coast Guard for a Boater’s Safety Course. The Safety Course is aimed for young adults and teens by all are welcomed to attend and learn more about safety on the water.

The class is taught in a lecture style class by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flortilla 52”. The State of Florida and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation requires that any person wishing to operate a vessel of 10 horsepower or more and is born after January 1st, 1988 must complete and pass a Boater Safety Course and receive their Boater Safety Identification Card.

The Safety Course is free to attend but a $10 dollar deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. The deposit will be refunded at the end of…

Join The Nature Conservatory in Florida staff this weekend at Blowing Rocks Preserve for a Shoreline Cleanup and do your part to help keep our beautiful sandy beaches clean. The Shoreline Cleanup’s are on the last Sunday of every month.

The Shoreline Cleanup will be guided by the Blowing Rocks crew leaders and participants will be guided through the trails and pathways along the shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean to collect debris left on the beach.

All supplies will be provided for you to use and no registration is required to attend the Shoreline Cleanup. The cleanup is for all ages and those under 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult. You are asked to bring your own refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is back again for the 25th year and is traveling up the intracoastal waterways from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Lighthouse, this Saturday, December 7th. Gather the family and friends and line the intracoastal waterways and get to see boats decorated with holiday lights, decorations, and holiday cheer.

The annual waterfront fundraiser is back for another year and this year the event plans to be better than ever.
