This Saturday, The Gardens Mall is hosting their Kids Club Wellness Party in the Bloomingdales Court of the mall starting at 10 am.

The interactive party will feature children’s yoga, arts and crafts, store activities, store promotions, raffles and much more.

The cost to attend is free but you are asked to register to reserve your space. The Wellness Party starts at 10 am and goes until 12 pm. To register, click here.

This weekend the weather is supposed to be in the 80’s with a little chance of rain and what better way to spend your Thursday, Friday or Saturday night then outside enjoy live music by some of the best local and tribute bands. This weekend there are several outdoor music events going on in Palm Beach County.

The Wellington Amphitheater is hosting their free weekly concert this Thursday night, May 16th at 6:30 pm. The free concert is part of Wellington’s weekly Food Truck Series that will going on at the same time. The music will be provided by the Sinatra, Martin, Darin and Vail Tribute band playing all the hits from the 1950s and 1960s. The Food Trucks will be onsite from 5 pm until 9:30 pm. The Club Scrub is hosting a free “Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day” this Sunday, May 19th at the Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The biking event starts at 9 am and goes until 1 pm at the Camp Murphy Off-Road Mountain Bike Trails.

The event features guided trail rides for all ages, a variety of biking trails for all skill levels, a free family barbeque lunch, snacks, beverages, raffles and goodie bags. They hosted the same event in the fall and the biking day had over 350 kids participated in November’s event. The purpose of the event is kids and their families to the joy of mountain biking.

Featuring songs by Cyndi Lauper, this joyous musical romp is about friendship and the belief that you can change the world if you change your mind. Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots is a sassy stroll from a shoe factory in Northampton to the catwalks of Milan.

Written by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth and inspired by true events, the musical tells the story of Charlie Price. Having inherited a shoe factory from his father, Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen Lola to produce a line of high-heeled boots and save the business. In the process, Charlie and Lola discover that they are not so different after all.

Every month on the second Saturday. John D. MacArthur State Beach Park hosts a car show and food truck rally. If you want to check out some cool cars and enjoy great Florida weather, come out this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm.

The rally is open to all vehicles: trucks, cars and motorbikes, original, restored or modified.  There will be food trucks provided by the Food Truck Invasion, live bands, and kids craft table.  The event is free if you are entering your vehicle but park entrance is $5 per vehicle.

You can also enjoy getting out into ‘The Real Florida' at this beautiful state park.  There is a free shuttle from the car show to other areas of the park including the beach and the nature center.  We look forward to seeing you there for a great…

The Jupiter Dive Center and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center have partnered together for a Sea Turtle Awareness Class as part of their ProjectAWARE bringing awareness to Marinelife. The class is this Saturday, May 11th from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Sea Turtle Awareness specialty course introduces scuba divers to the basic sea turtle identification and conservation. In the class you’ll learn about the preservation of the aquatic environment and about the sea turtle species common in our ocean. The class will also teach you about the skills and knowledge needed to record sightings, identify the sea turtles, the importance of sea turtles and other Marinelife, and the decline in sea turtle populations.

This Saturday, May 11th the 5th Annual Live Like Jake 5K Run and Walk is taking place at the Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter. The Run and walk benefits and continues to raise money for ISR self-rescue swimming lessons to help prevent childhood drowning.

The 3.1. mile run and walk is an asphalt course and is a USATF Certified Course. The 5K runners will be electronically chip-timed during the run. During the run there will also be a Jake’s Mile walk and all ages are welcomed to attend.

Finisher medals will be awarded to all runners. Awards will be given to the overall Masters and Grandmasters for both male and female winners for each age group.
