The 21st Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Palm Beach is coming to town this Saturday, December 5, 2015. It is a cherished event in the area and local residents prepare for it for weeks. 

A major event of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC) and festive present to society, the Annual Holiday Boat Parade will set the bar even higher this year. The 2015 21st Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade kicks off the holiday season this year on Saturday, December 5!

In years past the famous Palm Beach Boat Parade collected more than 18,000 toys for needy children in Palm Beach County!  Favorite area businesses and local municipalities continue providing ongoing support for the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County event.

If you are from Jupiter or Palm Beach County you can probably reminisce about your memories splashing in the water and swimming through the natural lagoon that is DuBois Park. Many of us have had picnics and long summer days at this iconic Jupiter beach park, but did you know how significant DuBois historically?  

Dubois Park is the site of the Harry and Susan Dubois Pioneer Home.  It is the second oldest house standing in Palm Beach County.  This historic icon of Jupiter was made of Florida pine and had cypress shingles; which over the years were replaced with cedar shingles. It is a one-day interactive program provides training and support for underserved girls in Palm Beach County put on by the Girls Leadership Institute, a segment of the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County.

The Friends of Jupiter Beach organization “is a grassroots, volunteer-driven not-for-profit group dedicated to keeping a special section of Jupiter Beach clean & dog-friendly in northern Palm Beach County.” since 2006, the Friends of Jupiter Beach and all of their volunteers have cleaned up over 49,000 lbs. of trash off of our beaches!
