The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is open 7 days a week and hosts a series of events throughout the week. The iconic red lighthouse has been part of Jupiter’s history since its construction in 1853.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Monday February 11th, 18th, and 25th
Come and join in on the ultimate yoga class outside underneath the stars and lighthouse. Mary Veal will be teaching yoga at sunset every Monday at 6 pm. The classes last approximately 1 hour, and all are welcomed to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, water bottle and a flashlight. Come and join in on the fun this Saturday night for a Family Movie Night. The movie being featured on the big screen is SmallFoot starting at dusk around 6:30 pm.

SmallFoot came out late last year and is an animated comedy about a friendly Yeti named Migo whose world gets turned upside down when he discovers a human, something he didn’t know existed. Migo faces banishment from his snowy hometown when nobody believes him, so he goes on a journey to show his community and restore his name. The star packed animated movie features voices by James Corden, Zendaya, Channing Tatum, Danny DeVito and Lebron James to name a few and is directed by Kasey Kirkpatirck and Jason Reisig.

Zumba in the Park is an ongoing event that is happening throughout the entire month of February. Every night at the Officer Bruce St. Laurent Park on Military Trail in Jupiter, a free Zumba class is taught for all who wish to attend.

Zumba has become a growing trend in the fitness world and was created by a Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez in the 1990s. Zumba is a fitness program that involves movements and combines Latin American and international music with dance moves to get the ultimate workout. Zumba incorporates interval training by alternating slow and fast movements and resistance training. It’s a total workout that combines all elements of fitness into one, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and cardio.

The growing trend of Food Truck Invasions is heading to Downtown Abacoa this Friday, February 8th. The second Friday of every month, the food trucks roll into Abacoa for the ultimate outdoor picnic and night of fun and great food.

The colorful and bright food trucks lined the street and offer a variety of food and cuisine from all over the world. The Food Trucks specialized in one style of cuisine to develop their perfect dish fit for each truck. The lineup of food features pastries, tacos, ice cream, Asian, burgers, and much more.

A DJ will be performing at the Abacoa Amphitheater. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to sit and enjoy the music and the food.

The Coral Sky Amphitheater is a 20,000-seat open-air venue at the South Florida Fair Grounds in West Palm Beach. The venue holds roughly 8,000 seats are covered by the venues awing and has about 12,000 lawn seats. The amphitheater hosts some of the biggest musical stars and events in the world.

The Amphitheater is run by Live Nation, one of the largest event promoter and venue operator in the world. The lineup for the Spring and Summer Concerts is jammed packed with great shows coming to the area.

The venue also includes parking, and food and drinks for purchase during the show. The Coral Sky Amphitheater is formally known as the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater.

The Honda Classic is just a few weeks away from being back in Palm Beach County and this year, attendees will get a better view of the action.

The tournament has added more than 20,000 square feet of expended hospitality spots and viewing venues. The 17th green is now closer to the water and the hole has been shortened to add more room the Bear Trap and Cobra Puma Village that surround the area. The Skysuites at the 17th have been expanded by 10,000 feet for more spectators. For the first time, the entire 17th hole will be enclosed by hospitality spots and seating.

The Palm beach Zoo and Conservation Society is a non-profit organization and one of Florida’s top-rated Zoological Organizations. The popular zoo is located in Dreher Park in West Palm Beach. The zoo is home to over 550 animals and over 190 different species. Many of the animals here are endangered and roam through the 23 acres of tropical habit. Most recently the Zoo has welcomed a new Baird’s Tapir Calf, or a Central American Tapir which are native to Mexico, Central America, and northwestern South America. The baby calf was born January 20th.

The Palm Beach Zoo has added their special events for the month of February to their calendar.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Family Adventure Day series on Saturday, February 16th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Family Adventure Days are part of the Lighthouse’s new series that is aimed for families and features family activities, sea-inspired and educational events, and adventures about Florida’s history. Next Saturday the event will be featured around Keepers and Life Savers. The day will include arts and crafts, games, story-telling, hands on activities and water and rescue demonstrations.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting a Valentine’s Day themed event on Tuesday, February 12th from 10:30 am to 12 pm. The event is the Valentine Blooms and Bubbly Brunch and will be held in the Quarterdeck Room of the lighthouse.

The brunch will feature an elegant floral arranging brunch with Myra Khan from Alice’s Table. Guest will create their own floral masterpieces and will be able to take it home for the special day. Tools and Flowers will be provided as well as expert instructions for the perfect arrangement.

Tickets and registration are required prior to the event. Tickets are $65 dollars per person, and a portion of your ticket will be donated to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. Space is very limited so get your tickets…

The Village of Tequesta is located in Northern Palm Beach County along US Highway 1 and to the West of Jupiter Inlet Colony and the North of Jupiter. The quite village is surrounded by the blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterways and the Loxahatchee River.

Tequesta is named after the Tequesta Indians and was formed in the 1950’s as part of one man’s dream that was center on the Tequesta Country Club. But over the years the Tequesta has become a wonderful waterfront community for everyone.
