For most of the year Floridians are able to enjoy the beach, warm weather and sandals but when the cooler temperatures come through it is a celebration for the locals. A cold front passing through the state will bring cool weather throughout the week. 

The cool weather front cold front is moving over the state today and tomorrow and will bring the “overnight lows into the 50s for much of Palm Beach County with the extreme coastal areas in the low 60s.”

The first permanent residents of Palm Beach County arrived in 1872. They struggled to clear the land for building homes and growing crops.

Clear your calendars this weekend for the grand opening of the NEW MANATEE LAGOON!

Opening this weekend in Riviera Beach, Florida is an amazing new feature of south Florida, the Manatee Lagoon- An FPL Discovery Center. The new Manatee Lagoon building and café overlooks the warm waters of Palm Beach where with manatees like to stay during the cold winter months.
