The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is one of the nation’s premiere environmental and adventure film festivals in North America. This April, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Twilight Yoga at the Light event. On Monday nights, head to the lighthouse and enjoy the peace and serenity of yoga while enjoying the sunset views.

The outdoor yoga class is taught by Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck. All levels of yoga are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The class costs $10 dollars and all those who wish to participate are asked to bring their own yoga mat and water bottle. For safety, the yoga mats will be spaced out and masks are required to be worn.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular and reoccurring Lighthouse Sunset Tour this Wednesday evening. Climb to the top of the lighthouse’s 105 steps and take in the incredible sunset views over the inlet and Jupiter.

Visitors who attend the tour will get a chance to see inside the Lighthouse Watchroom and even get a chance to watch the light turn on and illuminate the sky. The iconic red lighthouse has been lighting the Jupiter Inlet since 1860 and remains an active aid to navigation on the water.

On select Wednesday’s during the year, Jupiter’s River Center hosts an after-school Science program for kids with Scientist Sam. The program is called Science with Sam and is aimed for children in grades K through 5. Each science class features a different topic.

The topics discussed and activities in the after-school program include garden exploration and hands on opportunities with wildlife. This Wednesday’s event is focusing on Carnivores.

The program is free to attend but those who wish to participate are asked to RSVP to reserve a spot due to limited space.
