The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their annual Boo 2020 at the Palm Beach Zoo Halloween event. Head to the Palm Beach Zoo on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st for some Halloween fun.

Boo 2020 at the Zoo will feature a daytime, socially distanced, not-so-scary Halloween event for the whole family to enjoy. A DJ will be there playing all the latest hits and Halloween favorites in the Foundation Plaza.

Dress up in your favorite Halloween costumes for the event and take part in the costume contests happening throughout the day. Prizes for winners include Zoo Light tickets and family Zoo Memberships. Due to the current CDC recommendations, there will be no trick-or-treating at the event this year.

Due to Covid-19, our local local Animal EDventure Park had to temporarily close, but they still have animals to take care of, and are working to bring in lost revenue while providing a safe, educational, and fun activity for adults and children of all ages! They are now able to offer safe no contact Guided Safari Tours at their farm.

These drive-thu animal tours each get their own personal guide who will educate and interact with you over the phone, while you remain safely in your car during the entire tour.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts its recurring Public Guided Tours twice a day this fall. The tours are offered seven days a week and gives visitors an up-close opportunity to visit the sea turtles housed at the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center.

The Public Guided Tours are open to the public and all are welcomed to attend. Due to limited capacity, reservations are strongly suggested to reserve your spot.  The tours last approximately an hour and are offered at 12 pm and 2 pm daily.

The tours are led by the educational staff and experts of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and will be there to answer all of your questions about marine life and sea turtles.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows you to Adopt a Sea Turtle. The program helps benefit the continuous care and treatment for the sick, endangered, and injured sea turtles.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research, rehabilitation center and sea turtle hospital whose mission is aimed to protect the ocean and all that live in it. Lion Country Safari located in western Palm Beach County is Florida’s only drive through and walk through safari as well as an amusement park in the entire state. The safari is located on more than 600 acres of land that over 1000 animals from all six continents throughout the safari’s seven different sections.

The safari was founded in 1967 and claims to be the first cage-less zoo in the United States. Divers across the globe have their eyes on the Jupiter coast for the next few months, as hundreds of goliath grouper -- some the size of golf carts, and up to 10 feet,  make their way off the coast for mating season. This annual phenomena, known as the Atlantic Goliath Grouper aggregation, provides divers for a one-of-a-kind experience right in our backyard!

Jupiter Dive Center offers an extensive diving experiences to see these mammoth creatures. The center runs run regular boat trips for two-tank dives on the MG-111 wreck, the local ledge reef system, and other sites where the Goliaths are known to gather. According to their website, during this time of year, divers can expect to see up to sixty(!) groupers along the “wreck trek”.

The Palm Beach Zoo has extended their celebration of Kids Rule the Jungle and will extend their free pricing for kids until September 4th. For each full-price adult admission, two children under the age of 13 will be admitted for free.

Palm Beach Zoo’s winding shaded pathways and refreshing Fountain Plaza splash pad make it a great place to visit during the long summer days. To the delight of the hundreds of animal residents, visitors have been safely and steadily returning to the Zoo.

With Palm Beach County School District starting classes on Monday, August 31st, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach has created a new program to help students and parents with virtual learning.  Every week, the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center will be hosting their Coastal Classroom.

The Coastal Classroom is a weekly event that will begin Monday, August 31st. The purpose of the Coastal Classroom is to help students, parents, and teachers with the remote virtual learning. Students are invited to complete their virtual schoolwork at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The Coastal Classroom is a safe in-person virtual learning space for students.
